You can use the console, but thats not too easy. You're best off with R4 1v08 too - I assume you're using 1v03 from winamp.com.

You can also use the numpad scripts if you don't want to use web interface (eg. no extra monitor or pc). Go to R4 settings, then keys, and select 'enable numpad/tab scripts'. Then press '0','0','[tab]' on the keyboard and an announcement will appear.

You can change what numbers do by adding new '###.r4script' files in C:\...\R4\data. The filename is what you have to type. By editing the files it should be obvious which bits of text you need to change to change the announcements.
