Gordon, does 3ds objects proves itself like textures when loads into videoram? i mean, if different scenes and overlays load the same file, does it loads multiple times when gl.modLoad(); occurs? Thanks!

Yep, it does i'm afraid. There isn't any sharing, However unlike video there shouldn't be any maxiumum limit on models, so after the load time it shouldn't cause you a major problem or slow down R4 much.
