Is my question is too stupid or there is not yet answers to this fondamental problem ???

I've search a bit and didn't find anything very clear on this point...

You can play video in R4 - its been done quite a lot.
You will however need to write custom scenes to do video. An example of an overlay is here:

There are many other examples on the custom scenes forum, and some are also included in the R4 distribution in the 'R4/data/predefine/examples' directory.
