But to really do it right, I need pixel shaders. Any plans for this?
Organic Math is an algorithm I developed in OpenGL about five years ago and which I would love to port over to R4. Check out some screens from an OpenGL/Nvidia CG based implementation from 2002.

this was discussed already, but gordon sayed pixel shader is to complex to implement into the old engine, so atm he is working on a comlete new engine (perhaps r5 or so) that will have a completely new interface, maybe also a new programming ui where no code editing is needed
