Shutter Glasses
Posted: Sun May 30, 2004 5:04 amR4 ver1.08 works great on my computer, except I recently tried using it with lcd shutter stereo glasses. I'm using the latest nVidia drivers, via4n1 drivers and DirectX9. I have a GeForce2 GTS w/ 64mb of DDR ram.
After loading either through winamp or standalone R4 will run and crash at random with one of those "Do you want to send an error report to Microsoft" type dialogue boxes. It then goes back to the desktop with the screen all f$cked up.
The 3d effect with R4 is AMAZING, so I'd like to figure out how to make it more stable with such a setup. I have a Via KT400 based board with an Athlon XP 2700+, SB16 PCI, 512mb of RAM. I have a feeling the culprit is one particular effect or graphic that crashes when R4 transitions to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
