Announce 3d and scroll

hello I have a question:
Why in announce 3d I succeed to visualize these letters "é è ò à ù" and in announce scroll strange letters appear.
I use XP and keyboard italian language

for announce scroll the font is taken from r4/data/tex/ui/font_a.png and r4/data/tex/ui/font_c.png. if u need those characters u have to edit this files
