Don't know if its me, but I can't connect to the web interface of a machine running R4? (all my machines have multiple network cards both wireless and wired)

Can an option be put on to select the ip address for the web to listen to?

I'd love to run R4 on my phat Dell ( Mr R Hamster I blame you for making me buy a faster machine! ) and remote control it via wireless lan and my Sony Picturebook...

Thats a bit odd. my machines have 2 network cards too, and it goes fine.

I take it you've enabled it in the settings menu?
If you try accessing it from the same machine using: http://localhost:8888 does the web interface work fine?

If not i'll have a look into the IP address thing, but i'm not convinced i can control that easily. I'm quite new to coding networking stuff

yeah. i was considering frames too. i'll look into it. Also if anyone knows what causes IE to cache images let me know. Maybe there's a tag i could send in the HTTP server that would cause IE to remember the images.

Was just browsing through this thread and noticed you were interested in adding external control to R4 via midi etc. I cant help with midi, but I could help you hook up to a device such as a JL Cooper MCS-3800.

This device is used for sound/vision mixing and video editing. I have written code to talk to this type of device in the past using a COM port. If your interested, let me know.

BTW. I have used R4 at a party projected on to a 20' X 12' Cinema screen with a 2200 Lumen Projector, Looked great
