Blocky glitchy picture

When I first installed R4, everything worked fine. After a few minutes, it froze for a few seconds, and when it came back, the image was glitchy. When I installed the latest Nvidea drivers, it fixed the problem for a minute or so, then it froze and returned to its glitchy state where it stands now. Below is a picture of the problem I'm having. It's only noticable on rendered 3D objects. Does anyone have an idea what's going on and/or how I can fix it?

Pentium 4 1.8 GHz
512 MB RAM
Nvidea Geforce FX 5600

I don't know if the other drivers fixed you problem but last night I came across the same problem with a GF FX5700 teh latest drivers the 71.89's

Fixed the problem.
