Error when shutting down R4

Close the wave device? What do you mean?
I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about ATI's OpenGL driver crashing at the moment. It could well be something to do with me, but i have absolutely no clue what

One 'kind of pattern' in regards to the ATI error it seems that
If when shutting down R4 the error occurs, I restart R4 then 'Exit' again it DOES NOT produce the error.

I'm not sure if this is the typical sound setup you meant I went into the Volume Play Control toggled to 'Record Control' checked 'Wave'

I still use 'WinAmp' as my audio player.. The time it occured was when I was playing A 'Audio CD' and happened to close WinAmp then closed R4.
(That only happened 2x's so far.)

As time permits I will try to 'Beta Test' it more for you, being a BETA and
having such 'Haphazard' error results really doesn't help you much, I know.

I mainly thought you would get a kick out my 'ATI Open GL' error since your so fond of there drivers

Ok playing a little more, the Sound error is like your original 'Startup one'

'!H:\R4\Wave In.cpp:146>Couldn't close Wave Device'

This time I had 'NO sound' playing. (This makes it consistent)

It seems to toggle every other run (did 20 startup/shutdowns consecutively whew...)(ie 1st run/exit error,2nd fine,3rd error,4th fine,5th error,6the fine etc..)

So I guess when it errors and exits at the error point something (you set/change?) isnt executed like when it follows a normal shutdown?
