can´t write log.txt

Every it came "can´t write log file!"

I got the same message when I configured a macro to run R4 in Crimson Editor but changing the initial directory to C:\Program Files\R4 fixed the problem. The directory where you run R4 must be the R4 root (default C:\Program Files\R4).

Posted: Sat Feb 05, 2005 12:29 amI am having the same problem. However I have a bit of a different situation. I have a media PC that I built. My own "tivo-type box" if you will. I'm running a program on this box called Beyond Media. Basically this app will let me not just do tivo type things but also play other types of music and apps. When I try to open up this app using the beyond media ingface, I get that error "Could not write to log file! [data\log.txt]" Any help with this? It doesn't matter if I try to launch it from the root directory or a shortcut, I get the same error.
The reason why I'm going with this app is so I don't have to use it as a plugin and I can watch these cool visuals on my media pc.
Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks much!
